The Frenchman's Haven, owned by Jacques & Prudy Gourguechon, is a charming historic Italianate Victorian cottage two blocks from Hancock Street, Pentwater's main commercial strip with charming shops & restaurants. The house combines cottage charm with spectacular modern features. Though near town, this Pentwater home rental is nevertheless a serene & addictive retreat. It is filled with antiques & art. A cozy Victorian living room with fireplace is the perfect place to curl up with a book. A brand new gorgeous light filled kitchen/family room has a sofa & gathering table for memorable get-togethers. Recently remodeled, a fully equipped gourmet kitchen has new appliances. French doors from the great room open onto a large flower rimmed deck with gas grill & a private yard.
Three bedrooms sleep six comfortably. The master bedroom downstairs has a queen bed. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms: one has a queen, & the other has two twins. The upstairs also has a powder room. A gorgeous new bath downstairs has washer & dryer right at hand.
This Pentwater cottage rental is a 10 minute walk from the state park beach & 2 minutes from Pentwater's harbor & shopping district.
Note: Frenchman's Haven rents for $950 per week. A $300 deposit reserves your space. Towels & sheets are not provided at this property - you must bring your own.
